We believe passionately in self expression, that everyone deserves photography that feels truthful to who they are and represents their unique moment in this messy thing called life.
We have been together over 15 years, three states, five houses, two kids and a multitude of dogs and cats. Throughout all our travels and life journeys, the camera has always been a common thread.
Toby fell in love with photography as a collage student in Chicago, borrowing his father's old Minolta and taking to the streets to document the city around him. As he grew and pursued photography, new technical avenues and untold stories unfolded in front of his lens: landscapes, weddings, families, executive portraits, drone and editorial photography. Each phase only deepened his connection with the art form.
Elizabeth has always been a sensitive soul. Even as a child she pursued emotional empathy, responding to and nurturing honesty in people and the world around her. She is a musician, having played the cello, exploring the roots of how music affects us. Becoming an actress to chase a deeper understanding of emotion. Working in non profits that support communities and mental health awareness in young adults. She has spent her life encouraging those around her to connect with their own truth.
And that, in its simplicity, is who Wild Field is: two artists drawn to connection. At the core of our business is a desire to connect with our clients and our images. Meeting a person where they are and telling their often overlooked moments with care and authenticity.

Where are you located and do you travel?
We are a Northeastern Colorado photographer based in Sterling Colorado. We are also natives to this beautiful state and love to travel for all it has to offer. We serve surrounding Nebraska areas as well. Travel costs do apply. Please contact us for a consultation.
What type of locations do you offer?
We offer three different types of locations for our sessions: Urban, Natural, Studio Home. Many options to document your life, your way.
What if i don't know what to do in front of the camera?
Most people feel nervous in front of the camera. That is why we provide guidance throughout your session. We are prepared to guide and give cues for a carefree experience. We love the in between, unposed moments as well. Rest assured our shooting style is designed to capture all aspects of your personality.
Can you help us with what to wear for our photos?
Absolutely. We want your session to be as successful as you do. During our planning and consultation time, we will discuss apparel and colors that will work best with your surroundings.
What is the turn around time for viewing galleries?
For all sessions, you will receive a link to your online gallery within two weeks of your shoot, although this can be less depending on the time of year. The images in the gallery will have been soft edited and are lower resolution. We ask that you choose the images you love within 3 days of receiving your link. After your favorites are chosen, within a week to ten days you will receive an email with a log in to your fully retouched/high resolution digital images, ready for you to download.
Can i purchase more images than my package includes?
Of course. We hope you will love all your images! Each additional image above your package number can be purchased for $10/image.
What are the next steps after I send an inquiry?
When we receive your submission form, we respond with a hello email within the day. Be patient. We write each email and do not use AI prerecorded responses. We want your experience to feel personal. At this time, we will invite you to a planning and consultation session to be sure we are a good fit for each other. Then we book your session!
Is there a booking fee?
Yes. After our consultation and we decide on a date, you will receive an invoice for $50 in order for your spot to be saved in the calendar. This is a non refundable fee, but does go towards the total cost of your session and should be paid within seven days. As your session date approaches, we will send you an invoice for your remaining balance. We ask that this is paid a week before your time in order to guarantee your session.
We know that life happens and things get messy sometimes. Please communicate with us and we can discuss any postponements you may need.
